It's that time again as Lauder prepares to celebrate its proudest tradition.
I would like to congratulate Cornet Marc Alexander and his lass Vivienne Hogarth on the way they have
performed their duties throughout the summer and would like to wish them and their families all the best for the forthcoming week.
I would like to take this opportunity to offer my congratulations to our Golden Jubilee Cornet D M Wilson and hope you enjoy the celebrations.
Our Silver Jubilee Cornet is Crawford McNeil. I hope you and your family have had a very memorable year and wish you all the best.
And finally, I hope the townsfolk in Lauder gather round our cornet and give him all the support he deserves. Hopefully this year the sun will shine on our big day and make it the best of all!
