2009 Lauder Cornet: Marc Alexander (continued…)
I would like to thank the Common Riding Committee and the Ex-Cornets for their guidance and endless support they have given me throughout the year. I am deeply indebted to Sheena Riddell for the beautiful rosettes she made for Vivienne and I which have been admired by many of my fellow principals throughout this years festivities.
Best wishes, to our Golden Jubilee Cornet Neil Wilson and his Lass. Also, best wishes to Crawford McNeil and his Lass on their Silver Jubilee. I'm sure you are all thinking was it really so long ago. I hope you all enjoy your special time. I am sure all of Lauderdale wish you all "safe oot-safe in".
I must make special thanks to my Mum and Dad for all their continued and fantastic support, encouragement, motivation and hope. This could be the beginning of a new Alexander dynasty within our Royal and Ancient Burgh.
I would also like to thank the Cornet's Lass family for their support, but mostly my Lass, Vivienne for her encouragement, enthusiasm and her inspiration. My Right and Left hand men for their support and guidance throughout my year in office. A very special thanks must go to Ex-Cornet Steven Smith whose support and faith in me has made this all possible. Thanks to you all "safe oot-safe in".
